In 2025, Jorge Aragón was selected to appear on RTÉ One’s Super Garden, Ireland’s biggest garden design competition. His episode kicked off the season, introducing audiences to his warm, soulful, and story-driven design style.
His garden, titled Fáilte Fiesta, blends the Irish word for “welcome” and the Spanish word for “party”—a heartfelt celebration of both cultures’ love for family, gatherings, and connection. Designed as an outdoor extension of the home, the garden was split into four zones that flow seamlessly together:
☕ Morning Coffee Nook – A peaceful corner facing the morning sun
🍽️ Outdoor Dining Area – Under a plant-covered pergola for magical meals
🛋️ Lounge Area – Surrounded by greenery with views of the water feature and fire pit
🔥 Fire Pit Corner – A cozy zone with soft lighting and warmth for evening chats
With stepping stone pathways, a tranquil water feature, layered planting, and festoon lighting, the garden balances structure and softness. Jorge introduced terracotta pots, Mexican-inspired textiles, and a warm black fence backdrop, allowing greenery and colour to shine.
His plant palette combined evergreens, ferns, flowering perennials, climbers, and textural shrubs, creating a garden that feels both wild and intentional, vibrant and calming.
Fáilte Fiesta captured Jorge’s personal story and design voice—a joyful blend of Irish and Mexican spirit designed for togetherness, rest, and celebration.
